I have a 2011. It feels like it has 10 more HP than my 2007. It has a ****'s carb and ProCircuit pipe.

Any transmission issues? I had a friend buy an 11, 12, and 13 and said all the were tough to shift after 15 to 20 hours on the bike

The tensioning spring sacks out if you leave your bike in neutral while it is in the garage. You can pull on it or buy a new one for $3.

Here's my two cents on my 250SX mods.
Pro Circuit factory pipe. Lets the bike pull in high RPMs where the stocker and FMF pipes sign-off.
Pro Circuit shorty. Makes the power more responsive. Not sure if it will pass the new two meter test.
Dick's oval carb. More power.

I might need one of them then in another few years seen as I'm 17 and my knees are already going knackered (too many bikes with busted or just to soft suspension and an attitude of that can just stand up for suspension) altough did buy some knee braces a year or two since so I should hopefully be okay yet for a little while longer.

Nice bike aswell by the way, wish I could afford one.

I hear that. I'm in the same boat.

I just bought it for $4200 and then sold my beat '07 SX250 for $3000. It came with extra pipe, silencer, air box, bars, oil, sprocket. I couldn't afford not to buy it. I tried to buy a new one in 2011 but there was not a dealer in America that had one.
