I have DNA's. no problems here. just check the spokes as you normally would.

If you're an 'A' rider, you probably have the dedication to splurge for Excel's. If you're a 'C' rider or just ride to have fun, DNA's will be fine.

Where's this at? Can't find it.

all i could find is when he said his 250 just 'doesn't have it, you know?' in 2010 after a few local pro's almost passed him on a 450.

and I agree, i dont care what someone rides as long as the rules are fair. If rules are fair, more people will buy new 2T.

Hopefully that happens, because eventually 4T technology will make 2T less and less competitive, then you'll see less people buying 2T.

Ideally, rules are made fair, more 2T's are bought, manufactuers realize profit potential on 2T and resume Research and Development of 2T to keep up with 4T.

At the local level, rider skill trumps power output when you're comparing 125's and 250f's. Suspension mods are more important than engine IMO.

At the pro level, the riders are so close in skill that a tiny amount of power or powerband usability makes a huge difference.

just playin.

I already took care of the swingarm bearings and pivot bolt when I had the engine out. Should have done the linkage then but I didn't think about it until I set my sag yesterday. Static sag varied by 1/2" depending on if I let the bike's self weight compress the shock vs. pressing the rear end down and letting it rebound.

Figured greasing the linkage would help, then maybe next year I'll replace the bearings. Hence this thread's existence.  ;D

I want to grease the shock linkage on my YZ 125.

Do I need to remove the subframe, then the shock, etc. to grease the linkage bolts?

I was thinking if If I put the bike on a stand so it's at full extension, then support the swingarm so it doesn't move when it's at full extension. I should be able to remove and grease one linkage bolt at a time.

Will this work?

It's really not that hard to clean up a pipe. Seriously, scotchbrite or this, which is a little more aggressive: http://www.pepboys.com/product/details/209906/372/car_care/body_repair/abrasives/

If youre in Michigan though, I don't know how you saw it, lol.

Lol i am in michigan.Hard to forget that graphic kit  :P

It is possible that you saw a different bike. Motografx.com (i think is the site) sells this graphic kit. You can customize it with your own logos

hahaha, thanks. I wish I could say I put those graphics on, but I didn't - I bought it that way. Although, I would have chosen those graphics, or something similar, anyway.
