General Two Stroke Talk / Bike selection

hi guys, i currently have an 01 yz125 and was looking into upgrading soon. i am looking at buying another 125 but just a newer one as i would like to practice and eventually race at my local track. Are there any obvious difference between the big 4 Jap brands and which one could i get the best bang for my buck

hi, i know that you guys are are all into the vintage bikes so i have a question for you. i have an 01 yz125 and wanted to do it up with a retro theme to it and was wondering if you had any ideas for it

Technical / yz125 main jet

i baught a yz125 and it had some trouble running so i took it to my local mechanic and he said that it had an 'oversized main jet'. this must have been put on from the person who had it before me and as i dont have that much mechanical experience i was just wondering what the advantages and disadvantages of having this on my bike were

any help would be greatly appreciated

all my mates were buying 250f's and they convinced me to have a quick ride. although it wasnt quick. after i jumped on it i realised it had the throttle responce of a decade. by  the end of the lap i was so bored i had to give it back. as soon as i gave it back i jumped on my two stroke and went of for another lap. i eventually came of and he was still trying to start his bike. i guess that sais it all
