Pretty damn good for a first timer mate:P

But like Rookie said, keep it pinned. Just remember to brake aswell :P I have an ancient magazine that goes into great depths on how to ride motocross. This was well before the four jokes came into power. "If you're not braking, you're accelerating. Theres nothing in between". It says alot with few words and for a two stroke, bang on centre accurate.

Keep up the good work and keep on passing those foopers :D
tbh the front brake on my yammy is pretty poor, ive bled it, new pads, disk isnt scored or warped, but might need to purchase a venhill brake line kit, it worked wonders on my kx250f front brake, unless i just take the line off my kxf and put it on the yam ;) oh think my fitness may play a vital role in it too, but ill start going the gym more when i get a car for my 18th in a few days

this is my very 1st 125 two stroke bike, well technically its my only 2 stroke i have ever owned after owning a 250f for 3 yrs, i decided its time to chase the 2 stroke craze and give it ago myself! to be fair my 2008 yz 125 isnt as quick as my 09kx250f, but it is sure easier to flick about, and if i can ride this quicker i can ride anything quicker! :D enjoy, oh i had a nice crash to at 1.20 mark i think, didnt hurt tho :D

Technical / How to make a 2007 rm 250 less powerful for enduro? HELP
« on: September 25, 2011, 02:19:00 PM »
Hello, we have just bought our first 2 stroke motocross bike and it is for my dad. I test rode it today for him and it just feels a bit too powerful for him, he has only ever owned 1000cc road bikes but has never done off road riding. he is wanting to do enduro  and stuff like hare and hound rides and all that, what modifications would be best for the bike, it has an fmf gnarly pipe on it and a standard back. Also, i was wondering if a flywheel weight would do it anygood to ame the power. Please help. thank you :)

Also is there anything in particular i need to look or check for when looking over the rm 250 as i am from a 4 stroke background?
Any information appreciated, Regards Sam

i always look after my 250f, like every 4 hours engine oil and every other change oil filter, everyride air filter and so on. thanks for the offer to ride your bike, but i live in england, my dad is getting a 250 2 stroke anyway i think, but he likes the rm 250 and yz 250 05, why should we get an 03 or higher, whats the difference with them, just curious so my dad has the best bike possible, thank you :)

« on: August 30, 2011, 03:36:21 AM »
it was my mates bike, he puts the fuel in and i dont think he is stupid enough to not mix the oil hahahahha, i hope he isnt that stupid anyway, he said it was about to blow up anyway because he has never changed a piston in it for a good year, and he has never changed his air filter or gear box oil, but i have told him now to take more care of his 2 smoker :)

thanks for all of the replies, i am 17 yrs old, my skill level is getting better every ride as i have just had my suspension set up by RSS, i am 6ft 2, i will be wanting to race, but just for fun, im not going for any wins, just for experience really. i have had a few goes of my mates 2000 rm 250 , but it was on a hard pack track so it wasnt as much fun as say a sand track which i usually ride, and i have been on my mates 125 but i was scared to ring its neck because i am a 4 stroke rider and it wasnt my bike, and i blew it up anyway hahah, melted the piston, the video is in the photo and video section of the forum  ;D
