What? he said Quote: "This is so much faster than the 250 4 stroke". But this bike wore him out and that was enough for him to say ride four strokes? Wow, so in other words, "If your a pussy like me, buy the underpowered puss machine that surely won't wear you out because you won't be going fast enough."

People have been raking that guy over the coals in the YouTube comments since the first day that video came out, which was some significant time ago.  I contributed my own dose of coal-raking myself, as well.  I would hate to see how badly he'd get worn out by the infamous Suzuki TM400.

Is this Maico a 440 or only a 400?  Well in all the confusion, I forgot myself.
But considering this is a 1978 Magnum, the best-handling bike in the world, you have to ask yourself one question.

One thing to remember this guy is a complete Novice as far as riding bikes is concerned. As we all know the four-stroke can make a novice feel like a hero, so it's obvious what he would say.

This is one of the biggest reasons that magazine or web tests are useless.. it's so difficult to separate the bullsh!t from the truth.
Life is short.

"Just got done riding the all new Honda..."
"The bike has some minute changes..."

Hold on a minute here, something doesn't quite line up. :P

I also like how they go on about how quiet the bike is, and then you hear the bike let out this big "KERPANG!" as soon as the rider lets off the gas.  I could be mistaken, maybe their sound editor was adding some poorly-timed scene transition effects, but that was my first impression.

The CRF 450 would be a whole lot better if they took the engine out, melted it down, made a two stroke 250cc engine, then put it back in.....does look very nice but i must admit..............................apart from the crappy engine... :P :P

If they melted that hog down, they'd be able to make two 250s out of it and have a 500 twin!  You want some top-end, we got some top-end!

As for it looking nice, I'd prefer if they went back to the red rear fender.  In my opinion, the white made it look less like a racing machine and more like a piece of hard candy.  Red and white isn't really the combination for me, and yes, I apply that to the new Maico as well.  At least they let you pick different colors. ;)

I found this article with more quotes from several riders about the YZ250, including more of your hero JC Hilderbrand.

What a wussy-pussy!!!  I'm a 44 year old Vet Novice, and I ride a 250 2 stroke and love it!!  I love the fact that it takes more skill, strength, and 'nads to hold on to the beast.  That is what MX is all about, has this sport really turned into another sport where any marshmallow can compete???  This guy needs to become a NASCAR reporter or something, jeez.....  MOTO USA'a credibility just took a huge nosedive!

I'd love to see this turkey try and handle a works 500 from the olden days.  They were the bike equivalent of Jimi Hendrix' guitar, which is to say, they were made to work excellently for one man, but would be miserable for anyone else.
