Na, Mine are actually in pretty good shape. The Dr. that did the replacements was the Dr that did all the orthopedic stuff for San Antonio Spurs team.

He is good. Now retired which sucks for me. LOL

yep it's amazing what they can do, i'm not far from 100% fit again after lumbar fusion surgery for my broken back. not to mention reconstructed wrist and left thumb and separated ac joint, along with cracked ribs couple times and numerous cuts and grazes. dirt bikes are great aren't they.

It sucks to hear about injuries, but it is awesome to hear about the guys that get back on and still ride!!!

I know the injury side all too well, I completely tore two tendons in my rotator cuff on my right shoulder from going over the handlebars. I waited 5 months to get in with a good surgeon for the operation, it took 6 months of recovery and rehabilitation to get back to average mobility and function of my shoulder. I would rather have broken a bone! Less recovery time. The fact that I missed 11 months of my normal job didn't go over well with my employer either! My Chief was cool (because he rides too), but the Command didn't take the news so well.  They said something to the effect of: "You realize, you need both shoulders to be a Rescue Swimmer!" My response: "I still have one good shoulder and my fins can do the rest!"

I am just glad i can still ride and support my family, I'd still be broken without them! ;D
