I hope all the big bike manufacturers are listening! A handful of guys put a lot of time and effort into that project, and look what they accomplished! I think this is a giant leap in the right direction for two stroke development! Now, if only the big manufacturers would pull their heads out of their @$$es and put a little effort and R&D towards a project like this, maybe they would come up with some awesome bikes that would sell and bring some life back into the market and revive motorcycle sports all together! I won't hold my breath on that though! It makes too much sense for the big companies to change their ways now! God forbid they make a bike that is reliable, more powerful, lighter, and progressive in design and function! It would kill their four stroke market!
Apologies for the rant! Just my 2 cents!

"Technology frightens me to death. It's designed by engineers to impress other engineers, and they always come with instruction booklets that are written by engineers for other engineers - which is why almost no technology ever works."

He who has the gold makes the rules! That would be the AMA! The maufacturers just get in line! I own a Service Honda KX500AF and you may be able to keep up in the tight stuff but if I have 25 yards of straight away you lose! I wish the video would have focused a little more on the fuel injection. The bike sounded sweet so they must have it very close to dialed in! 8)

Is that thing really 215 lbs?

If Stihl can build FI chainsaws (talk about having to be price competitive) surely at least one of the big players could step forward and bring something out.
