The event will feature a one-class format, offering riders the option to choose the bike of their choice, including 250-450cc four strokes or 125cc and 250cc two strokes. The unique "all in" option presents riders with maximum flexibility, manufacturers with a variety of set-up options and the perfect showcase for supercross fans."

Yeah, too bad that once again there isn't really any actual freedom to choose there for any riders of note...

No matter what the race rules say, there's still the "You don't ride one of those while WE'RE paying you..." unspoken rule that's kept between companies with a backlog of foopers to sell, and the talking heads who get paid well as the marketing figure heads...

Pro racing is meaningless. It's nothing but a TV commercial.
I think 4 stroke dirtbikes are a phase, kind of like "Glam Rock" in a way. You see the whole world subscribing to it, and you wonder how everyone could be choking down so much Kool Aid and Spam... Then 10 Years later, nothing's left but the timeless stuff from before and after..

I agreed with everything but this. YES it is a TV commercial but it is more than that.
