I also put a dab behind each ear & a little around each arm pit before a night out at the local watering hole.  Chics dig it. :D

You run out of Brut.?  ;D
Wasn't aware there was anything else. ::)
Smell-wise,it's hard to beat Ipone.Made by Motul if I remember correctly but smells like strawberries-yum.
Fwiw,my wife doesn't dig anything bike related :(
Yep, the Motul smells very sweet in the bottle.  I, knock on wood, have not fouled a plug since I started using it years ago.  Was racing a PA state championship race at High Point & fouled a plug in the pits first thing in the morning.  A guy walked over, handed me a bottle of oil & a business card.  Said if you like it, call me.  I did on both accounts.  He sent me a case of gallon jugs for free, a T shirt & a pile of stickers.  Been running it ever since.

O.k. I avoided even looking at this thread for days because they are so opinion based & sometimes end up in an argument.  But this one seems fairly civilized.  I personally use Motul 800.  Best oil I've ever used & I've been running 2 smokes for close to 40 years.  Just an opinion.  I also put a dab behind each ear & a little around each arm pit before a night out at the local watering hole.  Chics dig it. :D

If you've never been here check it out.  Brushy Mountain.   http://www.bmmspark.com/  Awesome place. Geared towards bikes very, little stuff that is quad accessible.  Good single track & elevation changes.  We had a blast there last January.  It was rainy & cold but great riding.  Beware of the young ladies in the concession trailer.  Between that accent & those eyes....well, let's just say it was a good thing there were other divorced men there of stronger will.  Could have been my fourth ring.  :o  Gulp.

And this may be a bit closer to you.  Carolina Adventure World. http://www.carolinaadventureworld.net/   Not as much single track but a lot more diversity.  Endurocross track, motocross track, etc.  It was raining while we were here too.  But the dirt was amazing.

I could spend days at either of these places.

Contact info is in my profile.  Call ahead.  Or whatever.  Always some sort of riding going on here.  We'll drag Coop out.  Possibly a few more too.  I'm in a town called Bakersville.

General Two Stroke Talk / Re: GNCC anyone?
« on: January 24, 2011, 06:31:44 AM »
Ignore the claiming rule.  Pretty much obsolete & has been banned by some race organizations.  I don't believe it's even enforceable.  In any case, no one is going to want your bike.  As for the racing.  Do the trail riders class first.  In this series the age classes, Vet, Senior, Super Senior, etc., are filled with seasoned racers.  Even some of the +50 guys are turning laps faster than the younger B riders.  If you doubt that check here & look at the lap times from last year.  http://www.racer-results.net/results/gncc/2010/results.asp  The fact is you can sign up in any class you want.  You'll just finish we you're going to finish.  That is why the trail rider class makes more sense.  Personally, if you've never raced at all, I suggest hitting some local races in your AMA district or CRA, etc.  It's cheaper & you'll gain experience.  If you're anywhere near district 5 it looks like they are going to have a full schedule for Hare Scrambles this year.  And last but not least, relax & have fun.  Your not going to be the next David Night or Shane Watts.  And you have to work tomorrow, right. :o

High Point....Sheet.  Haven't riden a MX race in over a year.  Under a foot & a half of snow....sub zero temps this morning.  Now I've got a raging chub & I'm going to have to go put the studs bak on the YZ.  Dammit. ::)

Had a go 'round with the Coombs' years ago.  They tried to have me banned from AMA racing for voicing an opinion.  I got abusive calls at home from Jr. on my unlisted number.  Thanks district 5.  They are all about the money. Period.  They will follow suit until the cash flow stops.
