Lolz, I am certain. Hes arrogant, ignorant, weak and rarely holds down positions before crashing out but still has the audacity to call himself the fastest man on the planet.

He set the fastest lap every practice and won the first 4 motos of the year with ease. He was leading when he crashed.

Im not a fan (22 all the way) but you've got to respect the guy. When James is on, he's a winner.

:( OK, let's stop it here.

James in his interview mentioned the photographer but he didn't come out and slam the guy or anything like that. Just from memory, it went something like "I saw the guy crossing the track and I got caught out in the turn..." or something like that. Not "Oh! That f'n cameraman jumped right in front of me and ruined my career!"

Of course, he could have said that in the truck, just not to the reporters pushing and shoving to get the inerview!

And Stu, Stew is FMOTP. Besides telling everyone through the medium of MTV, he actually goes out there and can lead everyone on any track. His exploits on a 2-stroke are legendary. Sure he falls (a lot), but he is pushing harder than anyone too. As much as he has hit the ground, I am surprised he is not broken even more. To me, it is sad that he is going to go out with injuries and just be a "flash in the pan" rather than a "shining star" of motocross history.

Fastest man on the planet he is not. First off, that has absolutely no merit simply because until he has raced and beaten every man on the planet, that statement is null and void.

Second of all, if hes so blindingly fast and dominates the practice sessions and motos and heats then why exactly hasn't he won a title like the GOAT or the King? Bubba and FMOTP don't count because they either aren't true or are part of his legal name.

I'm not calling myself better, I'm not saying hes a bad rider, quite contrary hes very talented, but is by no stretch of the imagination the fastest man on the planet. He can't lead everyone on the track, atleast not without crashing out. Not since Dungey and Villipoto came on the scene. And couldn't hold a candle to Ricky Carmichael

I didn't post that to prove you wrong, but to support your discussion. I am not a JS7 fan but he gets a lot of abuse lately LOL.

I am going to miss High Point due to my nephew's graduation party. I am bummed.

Wow. Did James take your girlfriend or something? lol

He has won a title. In fact he went 24-0. How many people on the planet have done that?

:D :D  JS is an extremely talented man on a dirt bike, i think if James had made some different decisions in his career (not gone to Yamaha) we would have seen a lot more from him, i hope he isnt injured and can come back and battle for this title, i think if he does he will take it, Dungey wont put up too much of a fight.......

I used to have a hate for certain riders too when i was Stu's age but i have mellowed out some, gotta have respect for any dude that can line up on the start gate of a national, something i wish i could have done....

Stewart was amazing on his 125 and still blazing on the big bikes.... 24-0 is nothing to sneer at. As far his nickname, so what? Guy commands attention and is a huge threat whenever he lines up... Who else gets this much attention these days? I think Stewart is ok....
