My pro x has well over 50 hours and I have only put rings on it once. Great product in my opinion as far as crank I have a hot rod and while it's got the same amount of hours without fake I noticed more vibration in the bike. Not uncontrollable just more and others I've tales to have noticed the same with them. Next rebuild I will be looking for a different crank.

Stewart was on a kx250 in 05. That was the year he landed on Carmichael back at unadilla.

Stewart rode a kx250 in 05 and swapped to 4 in the middle of the 06 sx season I think.

Ticle rides for the rch team. Carmichael owns part of it so I would assume it's just his display bike

General Two Stroke Talk / How many of you guys.....

Simple answer is no. No matter what anybody says the only way any neck brace works is transferring energy. The question is where do you want to take all that energy. My problem with the braces is your body is naturally designed to bend and flex and spread out the force and the brace absorbs all that energy and transfers it to one point. In my personal experience with them is seen them cause more harm than good. That being said my credentials. In this are pretty basic, mid to front of pack b class race and local emt with nursing experience. For the most part I do understand what it is I'm looking at but have no hard evidence to back up my claim. Only thing I can say is if Eli Tomac was wearing a neck brace when he went head first a couple weeks ago people would claim the brace saved his life but he wasn't and he still survived.

General Two Stroke Talk / wheels?

Anybody have any experience with Excel versus pro wheel rims. Looking at one of these kits http://www.motosport.com/dirtbike/rim-and-spoke-combos I know most people swear by Excel but I've never really heard about pro wheel. Just curious if anybody has any personal experience with them or if the Excel kit is worth the extra $160 over the pro wheel. I know the dna and warp 9 are supposed to be terrible. Just ring to get back riding my test run on my kx250 is cracked

While were taking af's why do people use 250f's? Is there a disadvantage to 450's? I ask bc I got a buddy selling a crf450 frame 4 $40 and I was thinging of picking it up for an af project.

I Hear ya I would too if it didn't cause any issues. Personally I didn't like it on his bio u always had to fight to get it on and off. But I was always told it was so ur boot or something didn't shut the gas off while riding but ive never in my life had that issue

Actually my brother Bought an 05 Honda crf250r and the petcock was turned that way and it's how it was supposed to be. The fuel line came out the back and straight to the carb if u turned it around it would kink and wouldn't reach. Said on and off on it and everything u just couldn't see it

General Two Stroke Talk / Quick Turn Throttle for YZ125 2012
« on: July 19, 2012, 03:14:58 AM »
U usually can interchange them u just have an open hole for another cable. Buddy of mine did this when he swapped from quads to bikes. He still races quads every now and the and couldn't get used to the twist throttle so he put a thumb throttle on his bike. The thumb throttle is 2 cable push pull his bike is a single cable system works just fine

What kind of money would I be looking at to coke out and ride 1-2 weekends in pa? Do they do a day pass in the pa area? Whats a district card cost? I could care less about championship points as I said it'll only be once or twice if I'm lucky. I guess in short what's it gonna cost me to ride one race up there provided I have nothing but a bike and a truck
