I was once riding a SWM 320 at a vintage trials meet and in one section I fell off the bike only have my boot or something else get hung up on the footpeg. The bike idled off into the bush dragging me for about 20 or 30 feet before I could unhook myself.

I always set up my big bore 2Ts not to idle. There's nothing worse then a 500 2T going DING,DING as you're trying to navigate some steep and twisty downhill single track.

Unless you want to use all four fingers, you probably wont be able to pull it all the way in. I wouldn't want to take more than two fingers off the bars while navigating down a tricky hill on a big bore. And if it's not all the way in, you will certainly feel that DING, DING.
