That's a BADASS looking CR! I love the black/red color combo. It actually looks alot like I want my new 2011 MAICO 500mmx to look like! WHOOPS,Did I say that dirty "M" word again?Sorry guys.I'm kind of like a 3 year old in a candy store or a 16 year old checking out a HOT,SEXY chick in a 2 peice bathing suit or looking at 2-smokers girlfreind naked in his knee high FOX socks!I have to admit I'm a European dirtbike junky!I promise I won't let that happen again.

I guess we are getting tired of the aluminum frame look. Kind of reminds me of a newer Husky 2s, definately looks more exotic.

I've always liked the red, white, and black color combination.  They go really well with each other, although I suppose that combination has a bit of... well let's just say there's some bad history there.  Awesome bike nonetheless, though.  I think I actually like this more than the late-70s Red Rockets.

Is this Maico a 440 or only a 400?  Well in all the confusion, I forgot myself.
But considering this is a 1978 Magnum, the best-handling bike in the world, you have to ask yourself one question.
Do you feel lucky, punk?

Yamaha's old yellow-and-black scheme was classic, and I think they should've stayed with it.  But, like I say, it was either Suzuki or Yamaha that had to give up yellow if they wanted people to recognize their bikes on the track, and I guess Yamaha just gave before Suzuki did.  Personally, my favorite look on a Japanese bike was this.

Incidentally, these are also some of the loudest two-strokes I've ever heard.

yeah, I wasn't really happy when Yamaha dropped the yellow, but from what I've heard was that over in Europe Yamaha had the white and red (with black too) color scheme all along like the other Yamaha in the pic

Sigh, yet another pic of the TMKIWI lass and here I am trying to concentrate on the very future of the 2s offroad motorcycle.

yeah, but that swim suit is close enough for me and it wouldn't take much at all for her to get naked... except for the socks that is  ;)
