Motocross is the second most demanding sport on this planet.

yes i have also heard that before! thanks guys i will have to bring this up next time the debate comes up. all i know is that i am buggered after a trail ride and sore for days after, to me that is bloody hard work. a lot harder than any other sport i do.

I was sitting in the lounge with a few of my flatmates discussing whether or not darts is a real sport and a motocross add popped up which, i was stoked to watch (of course). The convo suddenly changed to whether motox is a sport or not...WTF! I looked at them all in disgust and proceeded to explain how motocross (/trail riding) is so very physically demanding and in every way shape and form a sport and then quickly left the room before i got angry if they even tried to disagree with me.

Yes I am tall 6'1'', but I have no choice as dad (Uniflow) is also very tall. I am aware this is a yz250f and I do apologise, (it is the first 4stroke in the family since the TT500). I did used to ride dad's yz250 which was such exciting fun! But that was until I had a bad crash into an open culvert at a trail ride (now called Meagan's Culvert apparently). The robust yz250 was left unscathed except for a dent in the exhuast...sorry dad haha. I'm not allowed the yz250 anymore... But it sounds like I have no engine in the 250f so you?re a bit brave letting me back on the 250 dad haha just make sure the dented exhaust is back on for when I come home coz the last thing we want is a mark on the fancy shiny exhaust!

Welcome aboard. Is the TT500 when you had some issues with the drum brakes? Not much chop are they? :D I know how you feel. I almost took out my old man cos I was used to the rotor and caliper on my CR125. Got back on my XR100R and it just wouldn't stop.

I think the combination of the TT being sooo heavy (for me anyway) and having drum brakes which yeah aren't as bite-y made it so i was over shooting corners a bit (especially in that radical overtaking maneuver). it now has no kick start (it was taken out to lessen weight for a race) but as you can well imagine it didn't do much, it's still heavy as s***. All in good fun tho!!
