Sorry for the delay with this installment, my "day" job is always getting in the way.
I'll finish the bottom end except for the stator with this post.
I sent a new OE Honda crankshaft to Crankworks for balancing. This crank was very close
to start with because it only required one small hole to remove some weight to bring into
ideal balance.
Once the crankshaft is installed, the left and right cases can go together
And all the components on the right side case start to go in.
Nearly everything that moves was treated to Cryo REM.
Next in is the Hinson Clutch
This clutch pack features titanium springs and a hat with a ceramic bearing. The hat surfaces,
clutch rod and clutch lifter were all Cryo Remed as well.
The clutch cover is a reproduction of the HGA/HRC covers that features an oil feed cast in.
Fill the powervalve pinion shaft well with grease to seal gainst air leaks.
Sand Cast Aluminum ignition cover.
Next up will be the top end.
