Seems a little steep. At least he replaced the crank (IMO that's a good sign), instead of just the top end. It would be worth a ride, for sure. Not crazy about the black plastic.

Not in oregon, there's a bunch of morons trying to sell their 1998-2004 KX125's for $1500-$3000... :o

A good deal on a KX is free   ;D  ;)
Around here that would be a good price.
I'd rather a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy.

Not a bad price, check all the wheel and linkage bearing, brake pads and such.
If a pair of 2" brass balls isn't working, I doubt that the 3" model will make much difference.

Of course, here in Louisiana, an 03 went for $1000. It had all the stock stuff on it too. It ran fine, but I'm not sure if the top end had been changed.

Asking a question like this on forum with members all over the country is kind of pointless. No offense intended. But bike prices are different all over the country. You do not find bikes in the Pittsburgh area as cheap as some of these guys say they are seeing bikes in their areas. Plus some will always tell you that you paid too much, lol. I got my 2003 KDX200 for $1000 last summer (lucked into a friend of a friend deal) and a few guys said it was a great price and some said I over paid. Whatever, I don't let price talk get to me. If you like the bike and feel it is worth it to you, then it's a good deal. That is how I look at these days.

I agree with Coop, that particular bike would be asking about the same price in that condition down here. In all honesty though, if you can find a less than 6 year old 2 stroke for $2000 that is in as good of condition, I'd scoop it up.
