I thought it would have had that much power standard. 44 hp doesn't sound like a bike that had engine work. They are also saying that it had nearly the same amount of power as a 450 but I thought they had over 50  hp. A typo maybe?

i was fixin to say my 150sx makes 40 stock. He must mean 54

Regardless of manufacturer,hp figures are only approximations.Crank hp,rear wheel hp and brochure hp figures are rarely accurate.It's more about delivery and where the hp and torque is on the curve than actual max figures.
