Plug numbers and tip
« on: July 15, 2012, 05:10:49 PM »
Hey guys I have a 96 125, and it takes a NGK BR9ES, I fouled it from break in cycles. I now want to use this other plug i have. Its a NGK labeled "9" Both the plugs have the same length of threads, But the Firing end sticks out past the threads on the BR9ES, on the "9" It ends before the threads, will this be ok to use? A quck response would help. Thanks guys!

If it fouls plugs you may need to go down on the idle jet..

and as for the spark plug.. it isn't easy if you don`t post the  name on the plug

 it may have different resistance

just buy the right plug mate, theyre only a few dollars and you will have it installed on your bike long before you find the plug code, post it on here and wait for an answer!

just a friendly tip :)

I said that it only says NGK 9. And it only fouled one becuase it loads up alittle while doing the break in

As long as it doesn't stick down far enough that the piston smacks it,you likely won't hurt anything.

I'd rather a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy.

Yeah it wont, and they have the same heat rating.
