Ok great, everything else is perfect, the bike is mint, its gotta  be the jets, or needle adjustment, Its jetted 168 main and a 40 pilot, Pro circut reccomends 165  main 52 pilot. It has a perfect plug color and starts and idles fine, seems weird to me, its very crisp sounding and doesnt sound too lean, idk what to do for right now though....

Hey my bike is recently rebuilt and runs so great throughout most of the powerband, has 4rs on it, airscrew is 1.7 turns out, always starts up and runs perfect! exept... Going from no throttle at all to Whacking it wide open it has almost like a cutout point, is this too rich or lean or something? Or is it just revved out? I feel like sometimes it has more revs to go, i run it way up in the revs so any info on this would be good, i race sunday and i cant figure out what this is, everything is fresh, (plug filter, gas, clean carb) I would appriciate any help, thanks!

I have a 96 cr125r. I live in ny, if i wanted to make it road legal at some point would it even be possible? What would i need as far as title and insurance and things like that? Besides the obvious lights and plates what else would i need?
Any one with experience in this? Thanks

Technical / Throttle response
« on: July 23, 2012, 05:39:53 AM »
Was just wondering what types of things you guys do to increase throttle response. I was thinking jetting and reeds had alot to do with it. WHat do you guys do?

As long as it doesn't stick down far enough that the piston smacks it,you likely won't hurt anything.

Yeah it wont, and they have the same heat rating.

Hey guys I have a 96 125, and it takes a NGK BR9ES, I fouled it from break in cycles. I now want to use this other plug i have. Its a NGK labeled "9" Both the plugs have the same length of threads, But the Firing end sticks out past the threads on the BR9ES, on the "9" It ends before the threads, will this be ok to use? A quck response would help. Thanks guys!
