if you are just getting back on the track moms hard pack dirt is probably a better choice, mabe some trail rides. we all know how hard it is to ride sand with any efficiency. ease into moms and hope to see you at some nesc events.

I agree, partly. Loose, dry dirt/sand is frustrating to ride in. I would suggest somewhere where traction is plentiful if you can. Or hardpack. But traction usually means soft, well groomed dirt which is more forgiving when you take a tumble :D

Thanks for the encouragement guys!   AS you can imagine it was really frustrating  knowing how I always used to be able to ride, and then coming back to a hot mess....but as many of you pointed out, 4 years is a long time,  and I'm not a pup anymore.....gotta work on not being so hard on myself.   Tore the bike apart though to get the shocks and forks done,   just put the flywheel weight on to soften the hit for me and I put the pipe on,  lets see how I do once this snow melts

and racerx   i may chip in a NESN here and there but ill primarly be doing NEMX  and some NCSC  as I'm a cape guy

the cape? I used to live and ride there. still have a house in Brewster. rode at Hyannis pit, old chatham road, powerline track in Orleans, and walkers pond with screws in the tires cause we got bored in the winter. lucky for us we missed all the bombs at Otis as well.
