Ricky Carmichael's Debut Race
« on: December 30, 2012, 04:02:27 PM »
Just watched the two 125 moto's in the video room where Ricky made his debut at the last race of the season in '96. Man, watching that really makes you miss 125 racing. What I would give to race a 125 class again. Would be epic. So jealous of you guys in the states that were able to make the 125 Dream Race. That would be a very special event. I am sure that will be bigger and better again for 2013, even though the entries were probably way beyond belief for 2012.

BRING BACK 125 RACING !!!

Ha no problems. That's awesome. I hadnt seen that advertised anywhere on the net. Make sure we see some footage from that event !! What did you end up buying. How do they stop guys running 150's now that there are so many on the market ??

I have owned an 03 cr 125 since new, my son uses it mostly. It remained pretty much stock till this year, then i decided pro circuit should port and polish. i don't think anyone cares really, wether or not someone is running a cheater. there is money on the line but not where i'm at in the pack. as you see it is an expert/amatuer race against the likes of Dowd, marshall, decotis, lorusso, clarke etc. so if they squabble or that sh@t let 'em i just happy to be a part of it. its sanctioned by the new enengland sports committee http://www.nescmotocross.com/

Swapper the 150,s are legal in the 125 class for the dream race.  Sleepy hollow 2-st. race is prob the biggest 2-st race in the USA.  I saw that  crowhill vid before, was wondering when someone would post it, great to see Dowd on a kx125. What number is Decotis  and  Lorruso ?  The  125  class is popping up everywhere now. In Wisconsin  we have 35 plus 125 class  at some tracks. The 1st race was about 5 years ago, at Aztalan  a round of the racer x vet series. With under 2 week notice they had 38 riders sign up.  Two years ago  20 some 125 guys, went to RED BUD to race the racer x vet round.  RED BUD didn,t  offer the class, but was really cool and  gave the 125 guys there own gate.
