General Two Stroke Talk / AMA Approved Equipment List?

I Just ran across this on the AMA Pro Racing website. Ok we all know about the production rule which is kind of a downer, but whats with only allowing bikes of a certain year to race? What if I have a 2005 YZ250 that I want to race at the pro level. If I am not mistaken 2005-2010 YZ's are all the same bike with only minor changes like spring rates and graphics. One thing that was exciting to see on that list is that Husquvarna has a bike that is "Approved" to race AMA Supercross and Motocross, too bad its not the CR125 two stroke .

Technical / Tire changing tips

So apparently Mike Cinqmars died early this morning. I am not a huge freestyle fan but I do remember when he was very popular a few years back. It's too bad he had to go at such a young age.
