Well, it has to start at some point and Saturday was the day. Flash back to last year this time, I was feverishly working to assemble my 1990 KTM MX250 before my new foray into into mostly vintage racing were to begin. I sacrificed much needed Physical training and mental prep as the bike resisted every effort of me to restore it. It was just a laundry list of things that kept me tearing the motor apart and rebuilding it, with the final straw coming when she grenaded at Evansville MX in PA. This year I've added another Honda 125 (1993 Doug Henry model) to the fleet so I know it will last and not be such a large transition from one bike to another. I've been training consistently, modified my diet and the girls are rip ready. So with a break in the New England weather I jumped at the opportunity to begin on bike training. Wareham Is relatively a deep sand track (deeper then the wick in most areas) nestled among several cranberry bogs on the MA cape.
