Jody's take anyway.I'm sure it's on here but in case someone hadn't seen it yet,I figured I'd throw it up.It's a good read, and a reasonable common sense approach to what most people need-regardless of what they think they want.

Or an annoying orange! Orange or blue, better than red, green or yellow these days. Bring them all back and lets have a shootout.

Whole article was a sad excuse for in your face adverts and product placements.
There would be no need to buy a carbon fibre brake duct when you could make on for $5 out of aluminium or carbon fibre yourself.

Yeah, the way MXA currently promote Yamaha's YZ two stroke range, they would want to be getting some kickbacks !!

Yeah,I know eh?Bastards, promoting a two stroke and even being so brazen as to do a full article on what one of their editors did to his own personal two stroke machine ><img src=" title="Angry" class="smiley"> WTF? ??? Where's the fourstrokes? It's not fair. You should start a petition swapper,I'll be the first to sign it. :<img src=" title="Roll Eyes" class="smiley">

TMKIWI,what is this "other blue bike" of which you speak,I am not familiar with such a thing.Perhaps it only exists in your imagination. :D

Evo,you're right,it did take a few bucks to "bring it up to scratch" KTM wise.On the other hand, prices being what they are around here-I could do the same and end up with pretty equal machinery albeit with the best stock suspension in the biz,and be still be left with about 1500 clams to help pay race fees, more gear, spares and middle-aged drunken divorcees. 8)

2t institute,I could tell you what I've done to mine as well but I would have to name the products, thereby making me guilty of in your face adverts as well.I'll admit the brake scoop is pretty gay but on the other hand,95% or the young dirt bike riding population can't turn a suspension clicker-let alone make anything. :)

Msambuco, the shootout is a great idea, regardless of the outcome. 8)

Are you drunk Ford?? I was responding to 2T Institute's post. MXA have done a lot of shameless promotion of Yamaha's two stroke range lately, nothing wrong with it, I was just pointing it out. It was a good article as far as what he did to it, and the fact that he wanted to keep all the mods under what it would have cost to buy one four stroke exhaust system. You carrying on about four strokes, and petitions, well that is just delusional.

Neither delusional nor drunk swapper. It might have occurred to me that you were responding to 2t's post if yours had anything to do with his-as It didn't,I naturally assumed it wasn't.
I do however appreciate you pointing that MXA has been doing "shameless promotion" of the YZ line.Seriously?
Everyone blatts about not getting enough 2t coverage but when it happens, the mags should be ashamed of themselves for doing it.Really?
I've been reading a lot of good stuff recently about a lot of 2t's in the mags.It never occurred to me that DB should be ashamed of themselves for calling the 300 Beta bike of the year.Maybe they should have been, for some reason. :<img src=" title="Roll Eyes" class="smiley">
DB has an article on a  young YZ desert racer in this months issue,I guess they should be ashamed of that too..
The same issue has an article on the new Beta 250 2t electric start. The header says "INCREDIBLE New electric start two stroke Beta 250 RR"  Shame, shame.
You either need to move over to "Four Strokes Only" or you don't know what the term means.Let me help.....

Way to go Ford, make yourself look like a complete ass. You try and call me out on the use of the word shameless, and you dont even know the meaning of the word yourself.

Shameless implies a lack of modesty, sense of decency, or regard for others' rights or feelings: a shameless liar; a shameless accusation.

My use of the word is correct, and I believe that was exactly what they are doing. They don't care if most people are mainly interested in four strokes, they want to promote two strokes and dont care what other people feel about it.

You are confusing it with the word shameful. Go use that dictionary of yours, and spend some time reading it.

Also keep attacking me if you want, like you are some sort of big dog. I am trying to add some decent input to this forum, get off your high horse !!!

My apologies swapper, you're doing an awesome job, keep up the good work. :)

BTW,quoting my dictionary link verbatim doesn't really prove anything but...yeah..whatever..have a good day. :)

These adjectives apply to that which defies social or moral proprieties and is marked by a bold lack of shame. Shameless implies a lack of modesty, sense of decency, or regard for others' rights or feelings: a shameless liar; a shameless accusation.

Not in the least swapper,I'm having a good day.For the record,I'm not trying to prove anything to everyone else,I've been solely talking to you and quoted your post-no one elses.
I merely pointed out that you directly quoted my link word for word-which you did.Whatever that proves or doesn't prove to you is fine by me-take it as you like.
I'm glad you noticed the sarcasm though. :)
As I said previously when I thought I was done with this little conversation, have a good day. :)
