I laced up a set of "pro-wheel" rims last summer. They were very well priced, and only took me a day to tear down and lace up(a very long day)
I didnt see the use in spending 500-600 dollars on a wheelset when all I wanted was the rim color. I also sprayed the hubs blue while I had them apart and now they look like a factory rim set.
I reccommed checking your spokes first, if they are in rough shape you may have a bit of a hard time re-truing the wheel.
