Had a fire in the bush near me, so took the YZ out for a play and an explore once the fire went out.

Cheers!  Dave on the CR250R is the owner of Two Stroke Performance, the shop that's building the Maico 700 for a world land speed record attempt.  He's definitely a big two-stroke fan!

Just goofing around on the weekend with a mate, seeing what sort of gimmicky junk we could do on some logs!

And I was messing about trying to 180 over a log on my YZ125, land with my front wheel on another log, then 180 back over the first log.  Worked, but couldn't quite get the 180 back over the log very neatly.  Oh well, next time!

How does the wife feel about the divots taken out of the wall by your rear knobby?   

Yeah it's a lot of fun!  The other half doesn't mind...she might get a bit upset when I start trying 360s in the loungeroom though.

Easier to do without the jeans.
Have you tried doing your 180's with budgie smugglers. 
Better bike control.

I'll definitely give this a try next time! I think I'll do it on concrete too, just to add insult to underpants-wearing injury.

Cheers man!  Yeah they are a lot of fun.

Lighting kit is from City Auto Electrical here in Australia.  It is an LED lighting system, doesn't put out much light but it's enough to get recreational registration here in Victoria.

Went out for a solo mission on the YZ last night, purely in the interests of getting a bit of video footage. Edited it together this morning to see how it looks, here's a sample!



No crazy riding at all, being out there on my own I wasn't about to do anything risky. I just wanted to have a play with filming and editing a bit.

After putting this little video together, I've decided it's time I pull my finger out and film a full-length dirt bike DVD. It'll probably take me years to film it and edit it, that's if I ever even finish it, I'm the king of procrastination!

disappointed, very disappointed by the subject title. if you are lead us to believe that you are indeed stupid, please, please capture footage of all of you hurting yourselves...or pick a more appropriate subject title.that is all.

and wedging a crf50 under a truck is pretty dang stupid! lol great stuff dao!
