Congrats!  I just finished up my degree, trust me  your gunna hit rough patches where you want to give in  but the moment you find out your gunna graduate  is going to be overwelming in pride...  I just so happened to find out myself when I was on the toilet,  guess ill never forget where I was

Thanks for the encouragement guys!   AS you can imagine it was really frustrating  knowing how I always used to be able to ride, and then coming back to a hot mess....but as many of you pointed out, 4 years is a long time,  and I'm not a pup anymore.....gotta work on not being so hard on myself.   Tore the bike apart though to get the shocks and forks done,   just put the flywheel weight on to soften the hit for me and I put the pipe on,  lets see how I do once this snow melts

and racerx   i may chip in a NESN here and there but ill primarly be doing NEMX  and some NCSC  as I'm a cape guy

Finally got to ride it sunday.....

I was AWFUL

I'd be away for about 4 yaers and I regressed SO much...I was truly embarrassed. I crashed so many times including this gem
https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10151226965993831

I was so embarrased at how poorly I rode, a real letdown. I stalled the bike early and often, I cross rutted twice and high sided, I had numerous tipovers. AWFUL day.   The track was rough, muddy and lines going everywhere but thats no excuse for how poorly I rode....

tore the bike apart today to send the suspension out for a revalve as Stusmoke mentioned, its getting a complete revalve,  also put the pipe on, the flywheel weight on, and the jet kit   hope these all give me a little bit more comfort on the bike and help me re-acclimate myself to it better.

Hondas are always near and dear to my heart...that is THE nicest non-factory Honda I've ever seen,  and it even ranks pretty close to some of the old RC Hondas

On the suggestion of a co-worker I ordered one of the JD Jet kits .  They look to be pretty good but curious if anyone has any review of the company that has used them in the past

you interested in wrenching on the Pro East Coast Lites SX series?  If so let me know...seriously

Hey Forum, wanted a bit of advice/widsom.

I recently earned my Level 3 qualification for Motorcycles, I can now become a technician, it's fantastic! 8)

I'm 22, one thing I've noticed is that a lot of people who either don't finish school or just have an earlier start, begin apprenticeships much younger than me, and so by my age can have a certain level of experience while having been taken under the wing of a garage whilst studying part time.

What's not in dispute is how hard I will work, and how much I love this, you ever seen a rocket launching into space? That's how much I am into this. It's my life now and I will not stop until I reach my goal of designing and building my own vehicles, whether it takes me till 40 or 70, the destination is the same.

One guy I know has suggested very personal approaches to garages, "turning up" and showing in person who I am, offering to work for free for 2 weeks, less risk for them. I am up for this.

Does anyone have any particular advice with regards to my situation? I have some good credentials as "student of the year" and I understand 2 strokes, which we were only taught about at college because I tore the roof down about them.

I would appreciate any advice, and don't hold back, I am willing to do anything to achieve my goal, this is the first step, initial employment.

Thanks Russ!  I am for the first time putting big money into my suspension this time around. Having C-cycle turn their magic on revalves for both front and rear for me  and im going to stay up to date and on top of my suspension, something I neglected when I was on my 250F and 125. I think this will have a significant difference in my results this time around.

Great!  Keep the advice coming, I will be talking to someone this week on what we can do to the head,  first and foremost I want to ride it with the mods I have on it now and get comfortable on it and analyze what it needs.  This will be the first time I have resources available to me to make changes on the fly like that so I'm certainly going to take advantage of it if I can
