Technical / Re: namura pistons
« on: March 08, 2011, 07:51:19 PM »
I sell alot of namura pistons but tell everyone they must be changed a little before recommended stock piston service limit. If you are a mild rider they will last if you ride all out i would not run namura i would run a wiesco forged piston.  We sell wiseco pistons with a 10% discount to all tsm forum readers & members if you would like a price e-mail  topgearmx@yahoo.com

Technical / Re: Bottom end rebuild... again...

Do you use quility air filters and filter oil. Your lower rod bearing gets the brunt of dirt and could wear the bearing right out  just a idea. We rebuild cranks with prox rods they seem to last long and have good specs. WE get $119 for the rod kit and rebuild let us know if we can help.

If you have the ability to tear the bottom end down do so right away don't even ride it you will get hurt or grenade the tranny. I think you have something bad going wrong in the trannys gears.

Technical / Re: 2004 RM 250 pipe
« on: March 01, 2011, 08:32:02 PM »
We just recently started selling dep pipes and are testing some on our kx250 two strokes plus some of our riders will be testing them. If you wanted to try a dep system i would cut you a deal for some feed back on what you think. Like run some laps with the stock pipe then bolt the dep on and do some r&d for us  let us know if we can help.

I know this is not an easy fix or cheap but a boyesen rad valve will give you more bottom end & throttle response. And a step up from that would be a phathead flat top head up grade with a wiesco flat top piston.  Check your timing !!!!!!!!
