Snakehead are a particularly brutal fish, and are currently going crazy in the united states. People would get them as pets and when they got to big they would release them in backyard stream, and from there they would just wipe out other species of fish. The Large Mouth Bass is considered one of the most aggressive fresh water fish in the united states, and it gets destroyed by the snakehead.

The same thing with those snack heads happened in Florida with the Burmese pythons. In my opinion, if someone is a responsible pet owner, they should get their facts straight before buying it so they know what to expect, especially size wise...

I'd rather a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy.

They get off on it that's for sure. I wouldn't screw with that fish unless I was eating it.

Last summer i was fishing with my grandad in tennessee and we both hooked up 20lb+ stripe bass at the same time.  My fish was easily 25lbs and my grandads was around 20lb.  To bad i only had my piece of crap phone to take a picture so i cant post the picture of the monster i caught.  The best part was we were both using the last two live shad we had left so it was the last pass down the river and we ended up hooking up two really nice fish.

I had the Vmax out for the first time over the last few days. It's the only snow we've had this year. Tried to get the wife into it, but she was content to sit on the back.

Thanks coop.Nothing really here either, what you see is about 3 in of fluffy stuff. It's not really enough to go on as we were grinding our way along over the rocks and dirt.I wouldn't have bothered but we've only had one good storm this winter and it rained off and I had told the little one we'd get out. This has been an open winter so far so I figured if I didn't take her now,we may not get out.I think I trashed my new carbides :(  :D

I would love to catch one of those beasts.  Did you catch it in a river or in a pond where they stock them.  Cause im always hearing how rare they are now in the rivers but luckily they have a lot of ponds stocked with them.
