General Two Stroke Talk / Re: TSM is back...
« on: February 18, 2017, 03:43:17 PM »
Winter is usually off-road season for us. Our closest riding area is unrideablely dusty in the summer but this year has been a bit of challenge to get out.

I was supposed to go ride at a buddy's house today but apparently he is in danger of melting in the rain so that got canceled.

Maybe next weekend.

They want to institute a 100% tariff on European motorcycles between 50cc - 500cc over a beef dispute.

Please take a few minutes to read up and express your displeasure.

Hey, thanks for checking in!

I was trying to figure out if the e-mails were going out or not!

--Ron.

I just got an email that TSM is back. I havent been on here for a long while since John owned it. Good to see this place rolling!

I wont be on here much, but I will stalk. And my garage is still full of orange and blue smokers

Polishing the intake ports will actually reduce the power. The roughness creates turbulence in the charge which helps keep the fuel in suspension.

Polishing them allows the fuel to drop out before it gets to the combustion chamber resulting in a lean mixture, high combustion temps, reduced engine live and loss of power.

If he, really wants to polish something, polishing the exhaust port is worthwhile, it improves flow and reduces carbon buildup.

Or you can just let him detune his engine to make roosting him even easier.

Thank you, and it's Ron BTW not Rick but hey whatever works, I'm terrible with names anyway.

We are open to suggestions if anyone has any ideas of how the site could be better.

I am about to send e-mails to everyone who had an e-mail address on here back at the end of 2011 which is the last backup I had to work with so hopefully that will help bring back some of the people.

Welcome back everyone!

We got back as much of the original content as we could manage from a very old backup and various other sundry methods.

We have big plans for this site going forward.

Thanks for visiting!

you are young you need that brain for a long time! Shoei is by far my favorite look for last years model to save some money, also black or white is much cheaper than those cool paint jobs.

I have had a little better luck with the gytr bolt and it has a magnet also. When mine get rounded I use vise grips and put in another new bolt.
