Some friends of mine have RM's 125.
A 2003 and a 2005.
They say the weak point of the RM125 is the stock clutch, but that is easily fixed
with some Hinson components. For everything else, they are really great bikes!
Can be compared to the yz125 motor- and handling-wise. Both great 125's.
As for the 144's:
In our reagion, the fastest guys are on the TM144's.
But they were also the fastest guys when they were on KX and CR 125's, so i guess it's mostly
about the rider and what you are most comfortable on...

Get a 144 or 150. A good basic platform, you will grow into these bikes as you grow and learn.
Or if you want something smaller, get a KTM 105SX (very rare) or a TM 85 with 125 engine in it.

Nice stuff!
I love a reasonable sized gas tank.

Mileage is very important to me.
But won't it be disturbing to the handling of the bike?
Of course it depends for the location and type of riding you do.

My girl loves motocross. Shes always bitching at me because we hardly ever go racing anymore lol  

Yes same here.
I have explained to her why we don't go to the Motocross World Championship anymore.
It's because of Mr. Giuseppe Luongo's selfish short term financial profits.
We don't have a GP at Lierop anymore, cos Loungo wanted more money.
Oh well, that's 2x 50Euro's i will save this year, just to go watch 4strokes...
Nowadays we visit Belgian, Dutch and German regional races!
A lot more two stokes in there! And more good fun people, and less entrance money. mostly free!
And she is aware of the fact that MotoGP road racing is also changing to 4 strokes in all classes,
so she doesn't want to go there anymore either!  
In return, we now also go to some WEC Enduro races.
W gave up on the road racing thing. Way too expensive...

I used to watch a few Nascar races back in the days of Dale Earheart sr.

But a few years ago, they stopped broadcasting it over here...

As for Pastrana, he is a gods-talent.
He is good at everything he does...

I don't have a vitalmx-account, but i read the 2 stroke related topics over there lately.
And you and some other members from over here ( i believe Burn also), are doing a good job.

It takes only a little bit of logic sense, to realize that pro racing is all about sales and money these days...
But i think it's relatively safe now, to say that all of the 4 stroke preachers and believers have
really underestimated the long lasting staying-power of the 2 Strokes!

TM is gaining ground very fast.
In Europe, more and more TM dealers are coming.
There's a brand new TM facility beiing built this year, right next to the Genk mx track, Belgium.
Parts are in stock by the dealers, if not, you can order them easily on their website.
They will ship immediately.
They also do everything it takes to get any TM near your location, if you are interested.
and they go the whole 9 yards to make sure it is propperly setup for you!
Really an awesome manufacturer! Specially the 250 and 300 2 strokes are superfast!
Never really got the recognition and props they deserve, but tides are slowly changing~!

As long as Cedric will be the only 2 stroke out there, i'm afraid they won't give
any attention to two strokes.
The way they broadcast and commentary SX races these days is just sad and hypocrite!
It sometimes hurts me to watch and listen to the fake commentary,
and see how the AMA has changed to worse, and more and more influence from the OEM's...

It really saddens and worries me, to see what has happened AMA pro mx and sx.

All the people who have an interest in the 4strokes, have really changed into creeps.
Shows how much brainwash-power the 4'strokers have.
If there is only 1 person in the room who is anti 2 stroke, the conversation will not be tolerated...
Even if all the other people are willing to talk about it!

You can't race 2 strokes in pro's fair!
They limit the number of 2 strokes wich are new for sale!
They will not accept any two stroke talk!
It's pretty sad to see a nice big free world, turn into a dictatorship.
The 4 stroke communism is very obvious!

This calls for more action!!!
