I'd rather a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy.

I think 1/2 a beer can would be about the right size.

There would be no need to buy a carbon fibre brake duct when you could make on for $5 out of aluminium or carbon fibre yourself.

MXA isn't a magazine, it's an expensive color catalogue with a couple of small articles inserted.

Spot on Evo, has been that way for a number of years.

Why doesn't MXA build an "Ultimate SX250"? While the Yamaha is a good, solid platform why not use the most current, highly developed 2T 250 motocrosser?

I would expect it's because the SX is the benchmark right now and that's why you're seeing the YZ's and other Euro's featured more right now.
As for The Ultimate SX 250,ck out the April issue of Dirt Bike for "Project Mosquito Killer" where they turn a new 250 SX into a 300 SX.Pretty cool article. 8)

Some have mentioned here about the mags being mostly adverts. It's true but they are a business and need the ad bucks to keep publishing-and the print medium is dying. When it all goes electronic, that will be it for me for mags.I hate reading them on the computer. :(

check out May 2012, it's the same issue this article originally appeared in. The 250sx they built was a good read, just as the yz250 was. I enjoy this magazine, and feel that the staff has given good support for two-strokes, which is the same reason we choose this forum.
