2007 CR250
« on: February 15, 2012, 11:08:40 AM »
Hi guys,

Thought I'd post some pics of my bike.  It is  2007 CR250, the last year Honda made the 2 stroke.  I bought the bike about 6 months ago off ebay.  It was a bit rough around the edges, but it hadn't seen much use.  It still had original tyres, but I don't think that it had ever been washed a day in it's life.  It was 100% original when I got it...

No need for much more details, the pictures tell the story.

A new CRF250 here in Australia retails for about $10500.  I bought this bike for $3850 off ebay, but it probably owes me about what a new CRF would have cost.  But for that I've got a CR 2 stroke with Showa PC Factory A-kit suspension and every aftermarket part imaginable.  I think this was a better way to go.

If Honda stuck that bike back in the showroom I wonder how many could they sell?

Very sharp 250, all those add ons for 3,850 dang you got a great deal. Who makes the brake rotors ? I also see the throttle jockey graphics sharp, did you see the 1986 graphics kit, the blue gripper seat cover is hot. The cr250 has a works bike feel to it,just sitting on it.

Thanks for the compliments.... I am in Sydney.

But, as I said, the bike does owe me a lot more than the original purchase price of 3850...

The front brake rotor is from CRFSTUFF.COM.  They do some awesome parts for Hondas!  The rear rotor is a genuine Honda rotor off an 09 CRF450.

Ok thanks, that,s cool that the rear rotor fits your 250. I have the RG3 tripple clamp on my 2 cr125,s 04 and 06, the clamp also fits the cr250,cr250f,etc

If a pair of 2" brass balls isn't working, I doubt that the 3" model will make much difference.
