Another 2T victory. The Red Bull Los Andes.
« on: December 09, 2009, 06:39:30 AM »
Cyril Despres, on board a KTM 300XC-W won the first Red Bull Los Andes, on november 28. as the Red Bull Web page described the race was "At 2600 metres above sea level, over 100 riders took part in the Red Bull Los Andes at the Cordillera for a grueling 30km test of endurance" The news is a little out of date but never to late.

Welcome to the board mpablo!

I love this quote from the article.

Quote
Chaleco was unlucky to have a little crash during the race when he went over the handlebars in one of the muddy parts of the circuit. I was riding close by at the time so when I saw him fall I stopped to see if he was OK and could complete the race.

Wonderful sportsmanship on his part.

Congratulations.

When I read that, I had to go back and read it again.  That is the way I ride, of course I'm as the back of the pack...   ;D To see a top performer doing that is just amazing.  Sportsmanship at its best.
