Two Stroke Motocross listed in Motocross Action Magazine!!
« on: January 08, 2010, 07:56:57 PM »
Hey Guys...

I just got my February 2010 issue of Motocross Action and the main site is listed in the "On The Mainjet" section under MXA's to-do list.

This is very exciting for me...

 ;D ;D

Alright men, let's not just sit around and party; it's time to go to step two.  TV commercials!

Is this Maico a 440 or only a 400?  Well in all the confusion, I forgot myself.
But considering this is a 1978 Magnum, the best-handling bike in the world, you have to ask yourself one question.
Do you feel lucky, punk?

John -

I just got my new MXA and saw the same mention of TwoStrokeMotocross.com. That's cool you got some press. I've been reviewing your site and just registered, so count me as a new member. I'm stoked I found it. I've been riding 2 strokes my whole life except for a brief "experiment" with a 2007 YZ450F from '07-'09. I just sold it and bought a new '09 YZ250. Let the good times smoke again....

Congratulations John. 8) :-* :D ;D

Who would have thought you could have brought it this far???

Now it's time to go to work. Post interesting articles, cool videos and technical information. Oh wait, that's what is happening. So let's double that effort. I'll see if I can hold up my end of the deal. I'm working on an interview with Ernie Solize of Torco Racing Oils. He provides some interesting insight. I'll hurry that up :o

Is Pt III of the Maico article still in progress, or did I just miss it?

Hey, I know i am one of the younger members of twostrokemotocross.com but, would I be able write an article as well? I would put a great deal of effort into it, and I have English coming up as a course next semester, and maybe I would be able to get my English teacher to help me out. Maybe you guys could discuss it?
I'd rather be riding...

One of my year-long projects in English is a long, detailed research paper on the two-stroke.  I intend to send that to John for consideration when it's done.  I don't think it'll contain anything we haven't seen before, but I'm hoping it's going to be concise and devastating in tone, more than anything.  The Politically Incorrect guide to 2T vs 4T, basically.

Well, good luck, I am sure that it will turn out quite well, because even though you are only 18, you don't act, or talk like those goofballs on youtube, who get their info from magazines, Honda ads, or their 13 year old friends. You sound much more intelligent and capable.
I'd rather be riding...

Hey Hondacrrder - when you get your article written, send it in. In a way this is an "open" forum, a place for the two-stroke racer to voice their opinion.

It doesn't matter how old you are, just that you write in english and it can be understood by others!!  :D

Sweet.Good stuff John. 8)
