Good day in the 250C class
« on: July 17, 2011, 06:59:56 PM »
New update
We had or best day so far on the big bike 2001 cr125 Eric Gorr (134). We raced at Waldo,Florida today and Jake had a 3/5 for a 5th overall his best finish on the 125. Also  he is in 3rd place in the series points. Buy the way the top three bikes are Two-Strokes one 2005 KX250 and a 2009 YZ125 and a 2001 Cr125 Jake. Most of the other bikes are newer four strokes. Also the first moto 3rd place finish the KX250 and YZ125 were behind the old 2001cr125 along with alot of newer 250f's

Good ride 87, keep it up. The 01 cr125 is a reliable, durable bike, a pal of mine took 1st place in the northern cup series, in 06, in 125 b class. There,s a great vid of a 01 cr125 on youtube, titled, OCA-HELMETCAM-CR125-BRAAPP,  it,s a yz250 rider with a helmet cam, chasing a 01cr125. A fast track, with a decent rider, deff. not a 134, great sounding 125.

Nice vid, I can't tell you how many times over the last year and a half racing Jake battled with 250 Two and four stroke bikes and won. Like I told him its more the rider than the bike in the C class. We are looking for a 250 and we think were going to look for a 2000-2001 cr250 It has the same frame that he is used to and a better motor than the newer cr's.

Thanks for posting the vid JonthE , for a 01 cr125 he sure pulled that yz250 easily. It,s a good video for a beginner, to show them when to get on the gas and clutching for corners. Plus the bike sounds great.
