Very true, but when I did have a cable operated setup on the bike I could see a ton of throw being put into the clutch pack (with the clutch cover removed).
This past weekend I ran the bike with my usual Magura hydro clutch on there. It definitely has less throw, but worked good.
The clutch still drags a little here and there, but the problem with the horrible dragging, smashing into gear, and stalling, is resolved.
