The 2 stroke motor doesn't get hot enough to produce a spark, something is up with the chainsaw. Ever heard the old saying "if you see sparks coming out of your two stroke, its time to take it apart."

When I go riding, I am in close proximity to another bike about 80% of the time, and I have never once seen a spark.  My cousin says he once saw one come out of the 120 during the five years or so I used that as my main bike, and I suppose if a two-stroke was going to throw out one spark in five years, it would have to be that one.

Is this Maico a 440 or only a 400?  Well in all the confusion, I forgot myself.
But considering this is a 1978 Magnum, the best-handling bike in the world, you have to ask yourself one question.
Do you feel lucky, punk?

With the exhaust pulses how would a burning piece of something make it all the way through an exhaust and silencer?

maybe if you burn off some carbon, but by then your either running ultra lean, or currently melting a piston.
