Micah, find a jump that is consistently making you go nose high and when you hit it, make yourself pull in the clutch and tap the rear break. Do this ten to twenty times and it becomes natural. When I was still learning it, I kept forgetting to pull the clutch and I stalled the bike like 10 times midflight haha.

That was my issue too.  Pulling the clutch in the air just feels really weird.

Alot of guys have asked me how i do it, i started doin it when i first started racin coz i thought it looked cool.
now its a habit, i tell them to pull the clutch in almost every jump you do then that becomes a habit so you just have to think about the brake whenever you want to do it coz you will be pullin the clutch in without thinkin bout it..............................if that makes sense ???

If you are an old fart like me that started riding before long travel suspension...  (yes we were able to stradle the bike and stand flat footed...)  Flying through the air just feels weird...  I guess that's why I prefer dodging trees...   ;D

I love it, though for me going anywhere past 80-90 ft starts to get really sketchy but being up there in the air when everything is goin right I think is one of those feelings in life that is just unmatchable its pure freedom. You love it but it scares you at the same time
