according to Dirt Bike magazine Husqvarna will have a 2011 144 XC.  Ty Davis of Zip Ty Racing is testing the prototype. now all they need is a clean sheet redesign of the 250/300 engine platform.

:) That's good news about Husky bringing out a 144cc. 2-stroke admiral..! And I agree with ya about Huskys 250 & 300's. I've always liked those bikes from Husqvarna but they do need to be updated a little bit.. ;)

Here's a question.  Why 144?  That seems like an awfully specific number to be making, does it mean the bore x stroke would be the same as, say, a YZ144?  Even when you see a bunch of bikes labeled "250," they're all rounded up by a couple cc's and have different bore/stroke combinations, and thus slightly different displacements.  Just seems weird to me, is all.

Is this Maico a 440 or only a 400?  Well in all the confusion, I forgot myself.
But considering this is a 1978 Magnum, the best-handling bike in the world, you have to ask yourself one question.
Do you feel lucky, punk?

I  have a  04 cr125r  stroked 2mm  and 2mm overbore, I  didn,t  want  the 2mm overbore. Anyway  the  engine  builder  calls  it  a  144, it  might be a  151. I  know  that,s  strange, that  he  calls it  a 144  and  a 151. It  hits  harder  than  a  mod. cr500  hill  climb  bike, 21 ft. lbs. of  torque, quicker  than you can blink. There  is  no  build up of power, you touch  the clutch  and  shazam  sam, it,s  like  your  hooked up  to a  transformer, very fun. The  1st  plating  was  done wrong, replated  and  welded  the  exhaust port bridge, the  exhaust port bridge  broke again. I  shipped  it  to a different  plater, and  I,m  waiting  on  the  cylinder  now. Honda,s  have  a  thin  exhaust bridge, and  breaking  the bridge  is  common.
