Lol.Reminds me of the old tshirt saying-"Honda races,Honda wins.Honda loses,Honda quits"
I'd rather a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy.

You guys are funny!!

I don't know who did the "artwork" but it would have looked like Honda did it if they used a white font...

As an interesting comment about Honda, do you know that the company started out by adding two stroke engines to bicycles?? In the scheme of things, I find that very funny!

While not the first machine built by Honda, this is an early one.... notice that the exhaust goes out the rear of the cylinder.

All of Honda's early(60's) GP bikes were 4 strokes, then the onslaught of the two strokes came and the ran for cover for about 10 years.

I'm still pissed about the 250GP class being gone. I actually liked watching them guys race ultra trick bikes, like Aprilia, Gilera, others. But know I have to resort to 125's, because I don't like diesel racing. MotoGP sounds soooooooo lame, it sounds like my 125 in a horrible nasty bog.

Well at least the still race two strokes in the USGPRU and WERA!!  :) >:D Oh yea, take this Honda! :P :P :P

Since I know so little about Road Racing my eyes usually glaze over when I read anything related to it. But something just caught my eye and I have a question.

Are you saying that in Road Racing the 250cc two-stroke class was taken over by 600cc four-strokes??  :o

As much as I hate to say it, yes. But the kick in the ass is, Honda will supply every single engine to Moto2 (the old 250GP class). Teams will be able to build there own frames if they want to, and Honda says the engines will put out 150hp and be based off of the CBR600RR. Something tells me that 150hp out of a 600 is bullshit though. When I see dyno graphs to the rear wheel that is close to 150hp then I will believe it.

So in reality it should be called the Honda Moto GP class.

Why bother racing at all?? Honda is going to win!

How about some competition??

Some excerpts from Wiki pedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Competition

"Competition is a contest between individuals, groups, nations, animals, etc. for territory, a niche, or a location of resources. It arises whenever two or more parties strive for a goal which cannot be shared.

Power and competition often conflict with each other. Lord Acton said that power corrupts an individual, so absolute power corrupts absolutely. Competition is seeking for first place or the top and when you get the top then you have a degree of power."

It seems that Honda is not interested in competition, just in power... how sad!

Life is short.

A link to:moto2 will be powered by Honda: http://www.motogp.com/en/news/2009/2010+Moto2+class+to+be+powered+by+Honda

And a link to the MotoGP/moto2 website:http://www.motogp.com/en/Moto2

There is no sense at racing at the world level anymore.Honda has taken over everything and no one is stopping them from doing it(hmmmm, sounds familiar, oh yea the federal government and the AMA). I have my theories on it. Can we stop people and companies that are power hungry, sure start by telling them about how the sport has become no fair and keep working them till they break and start buying two strokes. Reminds me of the people that tell me to not pay taxes, because if everyone doesn't pay them they can't throw everyone in jail. Just my opinion. Does any one else have ideas. I'd love to hear them. Please!!

You guys are killing me :P

I'll think about writing out my thoughts about Honda. But don't be surprised when hate mail comes, because it WILL be forthcoming. Lots of it. And truthfully, I think some would leave TSM over it. It would end up a HUGE pissing match. I don't want that either of those things should occur.

I wrote out my thoughts on a certain sancting body (not AMA) on another site, and it contributed to my personal ban from there, FOR LIFE.

I'm too old for that crap ::)

As for me,I love Moto GP becuse it is the highest form of roadracing art.I liked it better when it was 5002t though. Now there were brutal  mens machines. When one class becomes all one engine it becomes a yawner for me and I won't watch that class anymore.
As I heard it,Sochiro Honda originally put an engine in a bicycle(though not the first to do it)because they lived on a hill and his wife had to walk her bicycle back up from the market. Then somebody else wanted one and so on.
As for Honda company, they've always been this way and though they have had many good ideas, they've also had many bad ones and are famous for being unwilling to admit it and trying to engineer around it to prove the idea can work and not have to admit a mistake. They have also won various championships more through political genius than mechanical.
I'd rather a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy.
