"Its a stepping stone from the 85cc to the 250f."

It's everyone's favorate muppet JC Hindenburg.  Of COURSE the guy who said "if you're going to give me a two fifty, make sure it says hand gernade at the end of it" is going to say that.  Hell, he'd say a Maico 500 was a stepping stone to a 250F.  a KTM 300 is a stepping stone to a 250F.  Have to watch this video yet, but I wonder how his review of a 2 stroke will compare to the lipstick kisses he did for that stupid little quad.  Already with this 4-Joke quote thrown in there to boot doesn't sound like he has given this a whirl wind review.

Plus the comments about not knowing that other companies make 2 strokes doesn't sound good...

MotoUSA First Ride: 2011 Yamaha YZ250

Seems to be their follow-up here for the 250.  I left a comment on the first day replying to some guy who said that equal-displacement was "gay," and now it's the most-up-thumbed comment on the video.  The times, they are a changing.

Comparing two engines of equal displacement?! Oh no!? If we let that happen, someone might actually discover that two-strokes are actually better at producing power!

Is this Maico a 440 or only a 400?  Well in all the confusion, I forgot myself.
But considering this is a 1978 Magnum, the best-handling bike in the world, you have to ask yourself one question.
Do you feel lucky, punk?

No.. you know what, this just proves the puppet theory. A couple years back, Yamaha didn't want the 2 stroke around, they didn't need it. All of a sudden the 2 stroke is cool, and gaining popularity... funny how this works..
I'd rather be riding...
