Nitro Circus Movie?!?!?
« on: July 22, 2012, 05:31:42 PM »
So check this out! I was on YouTube bored the other day obviously... I watched the movie trailer for the Nitro Circus the Movie 3D Then last night I went to see Batman and this trailer played AGAIN! Seeing it on the big screen really made my mind up on how sick this is going to be!

Have any of you seen this trailer!?!

i've seen all NC stuff, it's awesome, not as stupid as jackass, but amazingly fun!

on this last movie, jim dechamp suffered a bad injury due to a stunt that went wrong, he broke his back on a car flip..

anyway, he's ok now and can't wait to see what's new this time!

I am truly grateful that an employee of Godfrey Entertainment joined 2tmx to spam/half arsedly virally market your film, ditto your two posts only on vitalMX which is the same cut and paste.

Kudos to you, and thank you for your contribution.

Busted? Just because I work for Godfrey Entertainment doesn't mean im spamming... I logged in with my Facebook account you can clearly see i work for Nitro Circus there is no hiding that. You are all into the same sport as I am. Ive posted this in every forum that I am a member of and not once have I been accused of spamming. I have sent out countless stickers, autographed posters and shirts to people who reply and want to rep Nitro Circus stuff. I am not trying to "Spam" your forum and im sorry you have taken it that way.

Ok, maybe not spamming, but certainly astroturfing.

You imply you just found this while browsing youtube cos you were bored - you are paid to plug this. And I jsut checked your FB page, it is not immediately obvious you work for godfrey unless you dig, and even then seeing a monster truck and paintball does not prove employment.

I have no issues with the nitro circus brand, I've waited in line for a very, very long time to meet pastrana at a rallycross in NJ, and I do own a few of the dvds. But you are not entirely honest about your motives in your initial post. You signed up and then in less than 2 minutes cut and pasted a post. Ditto vitalMX and the stuntriders forum.

Do you plan to contribute to the rest of the forum? Or is that it? If you intend to be a contributing member that wants to be a part of the 2 stroke motocross community, My apologies and welcome aboard. If not and you are just using this as a platform to plug your movie then how about throwing the owner a couple bucks for advertising?

Michael.

If you are going to spam, just say it instead of the silly "I was bored...." cover story. Now I want to avoid watching that film. If you were up front I would have considered it. Not anymore. Sorry. Shady stuff really turns me off.

So what if someone who works for Godfrey put a Nitro Circus trailer on 2Tmx?  I for one loved that show when it was on TV!  I seriously do not get what the big deal is?  Folks around here are getting a little touchy if posting a trailer for a movie that got its roots from moto.  What is the difference if they posted it or on of us posted it?

If they guy had been upfront about it, then no problem. I dislike being lied to ("found this cool video while surfing" blah blah blah). If he had said he was part of the team that is marketing it, then no problem at all IMHO.

There is another way to look at this, if TSM is attracting this sort of attention it could also be viewed as a good thing (if you know what I mean).
