Supercharger output is linear. Turbocharger output is exponential. The 2.0 has either 16 or 20 valves, so it flows a lot of air, and can spool even a decent sized turbo early and hard. That's where you get the high torque and horsepower numbers at such low RPM's, by getting the turbo to spool early. The TQ and HP isn't really that high for a modern 2.0, but it is early.
