OK so I havent been on a 2 stroke since LL's back in 1994. I had a horrible crash shortly after and didnt ride for 9 years due to the Ex wife (noticed I said ex lol) I have been riding 4 Strokes since I got back on bikes about 4 years ago. I sold my last 4 stroke (2010 RMZ450) before I left to get stationed in Italy. Before I left I did find an AMAZING deal on a project bike.
The bike. The guy I sold the RMZ to had a 2003 YZ250 sitting in his garage and after some talking I got it for 300 bucks. The only thing really wrong with it was a grenaded top end. Here are some pics.

I have decided to do more than just get the bike ridable, I am going to make it AWESOME.
So far I have gotten the frame powder coated black
I have also rebuilt the bottom end with a weisco crank and bottom end kit.
So now I am trying to decide what to do with the top end, keep it stock or bore it over. Also where is the best (read cheapest) place to get a full bearing kit? I am also looking for some Kite, Talon or DNA hubs, anyone know where to get those the cheapest. My Pegs and grips will come from TORC1 racing (I get a pretty good discount. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Also as I understand it a 250 2 stroke races 250 4 strokes in amateur racing, correct? Also if I go big bore how big until I cant run with the 450's?
