Just looking for the crux of the issue, that's all. And apparently it's just what I thought it was.
It's a greenie thing, not a performance thing. So apparently we as riders would gain nothing in terms of performance, but we'd end up with a bunch of red tape greenie crap all over our motorcycles instead of the current 100% reliable system... And we're supposed to be happy and enthusiastic about this???

FI = larger throttle bodies... a larger throttle body = more hp
and incase you havnt worked it out, emmissions have played a huge part in the demise of the two stroke.
take away that downfall and then there is no reason why they cant share or dominate the market (just like ourboards, snowmobiles and PWC's)
very few people who use these above products wish they still had a carby.
dont assume they will be more trouble than they are worth, because that has yet to happen and history has proven (3 times before) that it wont happen
