I sure will!
I am getting a membership next year. I have a couple of friends that I ride with that might get memberships too, unfortunately none of my buddies ride smokers, so I get the rap of being a dinosaur, but good guys that like to have fun none the less.
When I blew up my motor at the dunes, I rode all their bikes(haven't been on a four stroke in a while), I smoked them all on their own bikes! Take that suckas, hahaha!   :P
It is amazing how fast you can go with little effort on the new 450's, but they definitely make you complacent, I had fun but it really made me want to buy a new TM, some new ergonomics and latest R&D go a long way! 8)

My buddy at work is riding there a lot now (he rides a four banger unfortunately), maybe I'll go with him in a few weeks. Keep ridin and makin vids, they get better all the time!!! 8)

Technical / Prepping for the Dunes!
« on: September 14, 2010, 04:20:43 PM »
I am looking for a little insight on prepping my KX250 for the dunes.
Gearing, air filter service and possibly replacement, tire pressure, flag mount type and placement, jetting/fuel mixture, etc...
Just a little guidance to make the most of my trip. The Dunes I will be riding are outside of Florence,OR, so it is a little salty and sometimes quite humid!
Thanks,
Chad 8)

I have the VForce 3 on my '01 KX 250, it made a very noticeable difference in power delivery, the throttle response was good before with the stock reed cage and boyesen reeds, but it is even more snappy now withe the VForce 3, I like the VForce, but there is also the Boyesen Rad Valve that I have yet to try and I know a few guys that have it on their 250's and they really like it!

He hit the nail on head and drove it home! How true and yet so sad that true competition is frowned upon! I didn't spend my years in competitive sports to look good losing, if my team or myself did not win I was pissed, practices were brutal and tough, it was hard coming home with a loss. However, after going over the game or race, reviewing and pinpointing weak areas and endless practice to make corrections, I learned grew stronger and became a better competitor! I believe that kids should be taught fair play, but not that everyone wins!!!! why settle for less than greatness or mediocrity!  Competition should be encouraged!!!!

Now that was a race! Too bad Stewart wasn't on a 250 2T, Roncada was only a threat because of his unfair advantage!
