The past few weeks has been a blast if you’re a two stroke motocross fan. A few (former?) pro racers showed up at some local tracks on their two stroke machines.

A few weeks ago Travis Pastrana showed up at High Point Raceway on his Cernics Suzuki RM250. There is not a lot of information about this race but here are a few photos. Travis races hard with style and grace. Pure poetry in motion on a motocross bike.

The news out of New England is that John Dowd is enjoying his new Kawasaki two stroke. This past weekend he was flat out hauling the mail. From eye-witness reports he ran away from the pack. Could it be that he is training for the FMF Two Stroke Invitationals?

It seems that there are quite a few pro racers gearing up for the Two Stroke Invitational at Glen Helen. Doug Dubach is one of those racers. He has Alan Olsen spinning the wrenches on his Yamaha YZ250.

As a weight saving measure they replaced the rear end of the bike with one from a YZF450. According to Doug it slips right on and saves about a pound.
