Today's ride

Sorry,no pics of the real skanky spots as I didn't dare stop in those It was a good ride but I got tired of dragging the bike over and under downed trees on some of the singletrack. The next order of business is to hit the trail with the quad and a chainsaw. We're both late getting to it this year so need to get at some trail work.
On the upside,I only hit the ground 3 times today-not bad for me.

I wish there was somewhere like this near me, unfortunately your bikes have to be road legal and and you have to pass your bike test and even then you have to wait two years before you can ride a bike with more than 33hp annd if you do all that there's still no trails in the local area so I'd have to travel miles to find one.

Really?Wow,that sucks. I know we're fortunate. We left from Les's place today as our practice track is behind his place(MX and woods practice loop with rock and log obstacles)and just went from there on a trail ride.We could have done the same from my place-minus the track though.

_X_:
good on you ford.

I was out the entire afternoon (100+ kms) scouting out an area for a course I'm laying out. The ride involved lots of grassy meadows and I think every mother hare in the area gave birth in the last few days. There were baby bunnies hopping everywhere! Lots of bears too. One connector trail had not one but two bruins on it.
