Thanks.
In my old age though,I've turned minimalist.I always ran a full graphics kit, protection and everything else. These days I like it clean though I do have at least a mx style skid plate.I know I should run at least a pipe guard too but don't want the weight-it hangs on a nail in the basement-maybe that helps a bit.
I stopped one time and had a spider hanging off my visor.Since then I've been known as the guy that rides so slow spiders spin webs on me.
It looks like it would be a fast trail but just over that rise(an excellent woods jump btw) is a ton of sideways roots.Fortunately,it swings to the right immediately after that and there is a barbed wire "catch fence" on the left side.I found out the hard way the first time I ran that trail. These days I take it easy on that section.
I agree,it is about time.I'd like to run a couple HS this fall. This ride proved to me I have a ways to go to get back to form.
